1. Purpose

Omni Viewer Web values user privacy. This policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

2. Data We Collect

View-only use: Files are processed in the browser and are not uploaded or stored on our servers.

Sharing feature: When sharing is used, files may be uploaded temporarily to generate and provide share links until TTL expiration.

Viewer usage analytics: To improve apps and extensions distributed through the App Store, Google Play, JetBrains, VS Code, Chrome, and similar platforms, we may collect usage events such as viewer_opened, viewer_selected, upgrade_shown, and preview_opened. Event payloads include only limited properties such as viewer_id, extension, is_premium, access_result, ide_product, and plugin_version. File names, file contents, document text, and account identifiers are not included in these event payloads. However, technical information such as request time, IP address, and User-Agent may be processed temporarily in server operation and security logs.

3. Purpose of Use

Shared file data is used only for generating/providing share links. Viewer usage analytics and other collected data are used only for service reliability checks, feature improvement, free/premium access flow analysis, and aggregate analytics.

4. Third-party Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Analytics-related data may be transmitted to Google through GA usage.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics may use cookies for traffic analysis.

6. Retention

View-only files are not stored on our servers. Shared files are deleted automatically after TTL expiration. Viewer usage analytics are retained only as needed for non-identifying aggregate analysis, then deleted or converted into aggregated form.

8. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated due to legal or service changes. Updates will be posted on this page.
